A junior and new to the team, Benjamin Goodman has gone by no other name than Butch his entire life. While many teens with his build (5’ 1”, 190 lbs.) would be embarrassed, Butch accepts his body with the same ease that characterizes all of his relationships. The son of a Baptist minister and youngest of eight children, Butch is Rune’s lifelong best friend.
This is the first team, first group, that’s accepted me for who I am, hasn’t accepted me because they had to, hasn’t accepted me with conditions. For the first time that I can remember, I feel like I belong.
