Antidote

[Using today’s prompt from The Daily Post to flex my lyrical skills]

Where the twilight of hope gives way to the reluctant dawn
And tranquility is poisoned with fear,
A quickening stone clears the paralyzing dam
To cure the silent disease.

  1. I wonder if you are aware of how spiritually true this resonates as we look at suffering, death, resurrection and the Hope of Eternity when God the Sprit comes. Like the poem. It speaks perhaps to me in a more powerful way then others interpret. Look at poisoned fear……..and our world…….Look at the struggle of dawn to rise in darkness and then the quickening stone…..Wow! and the floodgates of living water can flow. (apologies if I see it differently than what was intended but Thank you for posting!).Easter Remembrances. Happy Easter!
